JUSTIN ALEXANDER
Justin is a San Antonio native, from the time he was born in 1992 until he finished college in 2015. He attended Ravencrest as a student in the 2016-2017 school year, and has been on staff as Outreach Coordinator ever since. While Justin still holds the title of Outreach Coordinator, he also leads the 2nd Year Bible School Program.
For four years, he played college basketball and earned his degree in Mathematics from St. Mary’s university, but loves almost any sport, especially when they have a disc. Justin loves to teach, and looks forward every day to teaching the truth of Jesus in the way he walks and speaks.
JAMES ALSUM
James grew up in Loveland, Colorado. After being a student here at Ravencrest Chalet for one year he stayed on to serve as a summer and maintenance intern before coming on staff in 2010. James met his wife Stacy during his time as a summer intern.
They were married in 2011 and have four sons: Jayden, Asher, Trevor, and Titus. James has an Associate of Arts degree through Front Range Community College in Fort Collins and enjoys spending time with his family, playing all kinds of board games and sports.
KAILA BRUCE
Kaila moved around quite a bit growing up but would say she’s from Texas. She attended bible school for the 2020-21 school year and then spent the next two years as a kitchen intern.
She has now joined the full-time staff as our assistant kitchen manager and enjoys the combination of ministry with the art and science of food. Kaila loves movement, learning, plants, and a good cup of coffee.
BROOKE DICK
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio as well as spending a few years overseas as a missionary kid, Brooke attended Ravencrest Chalet for one year of Bible School and then as a second year Leadership Training Course student from 2014-2016.
During her second year at Ravencrest she met Ruben, now her husband. They spent 2 years in Germany before coming to serve at Ravencrest in October, 2019.
RUBEN DICK
Born and raised in Metzingen, Germany, Ruben studied and completed his degree in Plumbing, working 10 years in the trade in Germany. He was a student at Ravencrest in 2013 and came back to work as an intern where he met Brooke, now his wife.
Ruben continued with the Plumbing trade in Germany before both Ruben and Brooke came to serve at Ravencrest in October, 2019. Ruben currently is working as the Maintenance Assistant.
SARAH KETTERER
Sarah Ketterer, originally from Virginia, attended Bible school at Ravencrest as a student in 2017 and then stayed on as the female RA.
She now manages the kitchen where she gets to combine her passion for food and cooking as well as spending time with people.
THIBAULT KETTERER
Thibault (pronounced Tibow) was born and raised in a small town in the north east of France. When he was 18 some friends told him about Champfleuri, the Torchbearers center in France. While taking a gap year, Thibault served there while simultaneously falling in love with the French Alps. After graduating college in 2014 with a degree in Social Work, he sought to go to Bible School, and spent the next 9 months at Ravencrest Chalet.
During that time God called him to go serve as a Student Mentor at Tauernhof in Austria, and after serving at Tauernhof for a year and a half, he was asked to join the team here at Ravencrest Chalet. During his free time Thibault loves spending time in the great outdoors, hiking, climbing, and skiing. Overall, he is a stereotypical French man that loves a baguette with some “real” cheese.
EVAN MANNING
Evan Manning is originally from Wisconsin and came to Ravencrest as a student in 2018. He has since stayed on, working in the kitchen and sharing his creative gifts in various areas at Ravencrest.
He is now the Media/IT Manager. He is passionate about food, music and takes advantage of opportunities to share his creative and artistic abilities.
MADISON MANNING
Madison is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. She came to Ravencrest for a year of Bible School in 2020 and then volunteered as a kitchen intern the following two years.
She and Evan met at Ravencrest and became friends when they both worked in the kitchen, and the two are now married. Madison joined the staff team in the Summer of 2023 as the Hospitality Manager.
KRISTEN ROMANO
Kristen was raised in Lakewood, Colorado and attended Capernwray Hall and Tauernhof after graduating High School. After completing a year of university, she came back to volunteer at Tauernhof as a house keeping and kitchen intern for six months before going back to university to complete her degree in Kinesiology.
After graduating, she felt the Lord calling her to serve at Ravencrest. She come to Ravencrest in January of 2019 as a kitchen intern and served as the female RA for the following two years. She now helps with programing and women’s care for the summer programs and bible school year. She enjoys playing most sports, reading, and knitting.
ERIK SNYDER
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Erik holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Management and has spent 6 years in the corporate world, holding various positions before spending one year volunteering and attending at Capernwray Hall, England and then 6 months at Bodenseehof in Germany.
He then moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where he started a business building custom furniture for one year before coming to Ravencrest Chalet in October of 2007 where he now serves as Director. He and his wife Sarah have six young children: Catherine, Camille, Jack, Jude, Quinn, and Sadie.
CHRIS &
BONNIE THOMAS
Born and raised in England, Chris graduated from Columbia International University after which he assumed the position of Vice Principal of the Capernwray Bible School in England. Upon his marriage to Bonnie, he moved to the United States to join the pastoral staff of Elmbrook Church with Senior Pastor, Stuart Briscoe. Until June 2017, Chris served as General Director of Torchbearers International.
Bonnie also comes from a rich Christian heritage as the oldest child of Cliff Barrows, music and program director for Billy Graham. After graduation from Wheaton College, she served on the staff of Campus Crusade and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association before her marriage to Chris. They now make their home in Estes Park, Colorado, just down the hill from Ravencrest Chalet and continue to travel and teach at Ravencrest Chalet and at other conferences and Bible schools abroad.
