Refuel: Ravencrest ministry to youth

YOUTH CAMPS AT RAVENCREST

At Ravencrest Chalet, our mission is “engaging people to know Christ through the Word, relationships, and the outdoors.” We seek to provide an atmosphere where your group can engage with the living Christ through worship times throughout the day. During the day, we go on activities designed to bring campers and leaders as they adventure together and to encounter our creator Jesus and His truth through the creation. Our activities include rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, low ropes challenge course, and overnight campouts. We spend time together in worship, which includes morning devotions, relevant Bible studies, times of music and praise, and sharing sessions.

Bible Study

A vital part of being at Ravencrest is the pursuit of God, and a deeper relationship with Him. We prize the time spent in God's word in both devotional form and relevent Bible Study.

Activities

Want to partake in all that the Rocky Mountains of Colorado have to offer? We are here to make that happen. We will take you hiking through picturesque Aspen groves, up to stunning alpine lakes surrounded with mountains, conquering your fears on the rock walls, racing through backcountry trails on a mountain bike, being challenged as a team to cross the pit of “molten lava” on our low ropes course, or singing and sharing lives with one another under the starlit sky by a campfire. It is all part of the experience of Refuel at Ravencrest Chalet.

Mountain Biking

Campout

This is a true Rocky Mountain experience. We bike down backcountry trails with our fleet of quality specialized mountains bikes, designed to handle the rugged terrain. The beautiful views of the surrounding mountains are yours to keep. The uphill's are exerting and the downhill's are exhilarating.
Our campout night is a special night that we will spend sitting around the fire, roasting s’mores, telling stories, and sharing about God’s faithfulness in our own life. With insightful teaching and the great outdoors as a classroom, it makes for a unique experience for the whole group.

Hiking

Kayaking

We offer both short and long hikes to get you into the back country. Our guides are trained in leading both large and small groups in all types of terrain. Splash around on beautiful Lake Estes as you enjoy the 360 degrees view from the Estes Valley. Whether "tippy" toeing across the front of the kayaks or playing "Pirates of the Kayakabbean", you will be sure to enjoy the experience.

Climbing

Low Ropes Challenge Course

Climb to new heights and conquer your fears. Our experienced guides will lead you up the wall and make it a memorable experience for you. There is nothing like the view from the top! The low ropes challenge course is designed to challenge groups with communication, trust and team dynamics. They are great for encouraging the group to grow together. Our elements include Stumptown, The Widow's Web, Walk The Line and Trust Falls.
